Common quality problems of extrusion die

Quality problems will seriously affect the performance of the extrusion die and the production of related workpieces. Therefore, when the extrusion die is in production, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors that affect its quality problems, so as to prevent the produced workpieces from being used normally.

First,Quality of casting materials:

Because the extrusion die needs to be operated in a high-temperature environment for a long time, it has high requirements on its wear resistance and heat resistance. Most of the previously used 3Cr2W8V steel dies, but the toughness of this extrusion die and The heat resistance does not meet the requirements, so it has been gradually replaced by 4Cr5MoSiV steel moulds. According to long-term experiments, the service life of 4Cr5MoSiV steel moulds is several times longer than that of traditional steel moulds.

Second, the quality of the quenching process:

In the production cycle of the extrusion die, we need to preheat the die.If the microscopic deficiencies in the extrusion die, then we should pretreat the quenching process. *After two and a half hours of oil quenching at high temperature, Then temper the extrusion mould. This processing method uses a uniform heating method to eliminate the internal stress generated during the quenching production of the injection mould. In this processing process, each step needs to be performed Correct and rigorous operation, so as not to affect the service life of the extrusion die.

Third, reasonable design:

When designing the extrusion die, the design plan should be reasonable, using * as the standard mould structure, and designed according to the feasibility of the manufacturing process. The rationality of the design scheme is an important step for the entire extrusion die to improve the service life and production quality.
