Precautions Before Starting The Injection Molding Machine When Tt Is Not Used For A Long Time

1. Turn on the main power switch of the machine tool, check whether the equipment is leaking electricity, preheat the barrel and mold according to the set process temperature requirements, and keep the barrel temperature for more than 20 minutes when it reaches the process temperature to ensure that the temperature of all parts of the barrel is uniform.

2. Open the cooling water valve of the oil cooler, cool the return oil and water pipes, start the oil pump by jog, and start the oil pump formally only when no abnormal phenomenon is found.

Wait until the screen displays “Motor on” before the operation. Pay attention to the motor reversal and check whether the safety door works normally.

3. Manually start the screw to rotate and check whether the screw rotation sound is abnormal or stuck.

4. Operators must use the safety door. If the safety door travel switch fails, the machine must not be turned on. It is strictly forbidden to operate without the safety door (cover).

5. The various covers, protective covers, etc. of the electrical, hydraulic and rotating parts of the running equipment must be covered and fixed.

6. Non-operators on duty are not allowed to press buttons or handles without permission. Two or more people are not allowed to operate the same injection molding machine at the same time.

7. When placing molds and inserts, they must be stable, accurate and reliable. If any abnormality is found during the mold closing process, the machine should be stopped immediately and the technicians should be notified to troubleshoot.

8. When repairing the machine or cleaning the mold for a long time (more than 10 minutes), the injection seat must be moved back to make the nozzle leave the mold and the motor must be turned off. When the maintenance personnel are repairing the machine, the operator must not leave the post.

9. No one is allowed to start the motor when someone is handling the machine or mold.

10. When the body enters the machine tool or the mold opening, the power must be cut off.

11. Avoid hitting the fixed mold with the injection seat when the mold is opened to prevent the fixed mold from falling off.

12. The air injection generally does not exceed 5 seconds each time. If it fails to inject twice in a row, be sure to notify nearby personnel to avoid the danger zone. When cleaning the nozzle rubber head, do not clean it directly with your hands. Use pliers or other tools to avoid burns.

13. The melt tube has high temperature, high pressure and high electricity during operation. It is forbidden to step on, climb or place objects on the melt tube to prevent burns, electric shocks and fires.

14. When the hopper is not unloading, do not use metal bars or rods to poke the hopper roughly to avoid damaging the screen, screen cover and magnet frame in the hopper. If the screw is rotating, it is very easy for the metal bar to be rolled into the barrel and cause serious damage to the equipment.

15. If the injection molding machine is found to have abnormal noise, odor, sparks, oil leakage or other abnormal conditions during operation, it should be stopped immediately and reported to the relevant personnel immediately, and the fault phenomenon and possible causes should be explained.
